The key to mankind's existence is love.
If these two characters had exchanged appearances, they would have
become representatives of themselves.
The ideas of worthlessness & abandonment are prevalent. The creature
serves as a poignant example of what can happen when someone is
constantly shunned.
…we cannot create pure goodness because we contain evil, our
creation
will also contain evil.
Victor loved only that which made him feel worthy of the love he
received.
As the monster's intentions were inherently good, but were somehow
transformed into pure evil. Why did this happen?
Victor cannot receive the praise that he seeks as creator because he
is
so appalled by the monster's
exterior. The monster cannot exude a desirable image to Victor
because Victor has less "inside' than the monster.
The warm glow of admiration man has for one another is filled by his
intrinsic blindness.
Love is intrinsic to nature; creatures have an inborn desire for it
and will seek it out any way possible.
Nothing should be left to chance, and a solid strategy will prevent
unnecessary conflict and turmoil.
The best of the two personalities combined would be an extremely
admirable character, but because they are separated, the
personalities destroy each other.
Fulfillment in life only comes from being loved and loving another.
Nothing is as poisonout to a relational being as rejection of love
sincerely offered. Nothing degrades the development of one who
should love more than self-devotion.
I find that the need for love and the often occurrence of loneliness
is very common in human nature and the search for happiness and
companionship stems from a
greater need of acceptance.
