Report Template

In the spirit of the program planning and review proposal, which is modeled after a research proposal, the template for the program planning and review report is organized as a research paper. Each program is invited to customize this format so that it resembles the research style of their discipline.  Parenthesized numbers are suggested page counts.

2.  Abstract  - Executive Summary (1)

3. Introduction & Literature Review – Brief program history, curricular and staffing changes since the last review; comparison with peer and aspirational programs (3)

4. Methodology & Research Design – Description of current program planning and review process; current program goals & student learning outcomes; assessment methodology designed by faculty (3)

5. Results – Primary findings of the assessment process (3)

6. Analysis & Recommendations – Narrative describing lessons learned and proposed program changes (2)

7. Next Steps – Next steps in the ongoing program planning and review process; new questions (raised by this research) requiring further attention (1)

8. Appendices – Background and supplementary information (2)
